I am going to apply an ampule onto the skin. What it is, it's a preservative-free product, pure DNA or hyaluronic acid ampule. Then, I am going to put an anti-aging gel on and I'm also going to use it with a little bit of another gel for acne. Not that she has acne, but this is going to help kill any bacteria where acne may develop onto the skin. The way, that I am going to penetrate all of that, is with these smoothing 'irons'. These are sort of like ultrasound. What they do is, they penetrate the product into the dermis and they also smooth the skin out. They smooth in fine lines and wrinkles. They literally 'iron' the skin, hence, the name smoothing irons. "OK, but you cannot take your at-home iron and iron on the skin. You can't do that!" Right, I agree, you don't want to do that; these are cool irons here, not hot irons, OK? "Now the anti-aging products and the . . . you said, the first thing, the ampoule? Yes. "OK, is that something that somebody can do at home?" Well, these are all professional products, so I would say, "No". These are the things that you are going to go to a treatment facility for. "OK." However, there are other things that you can use. There are other serums, like vitamin-C serums. There are rejuvenating serums that you can use on your skin and that you can do at home, which is also very beneficial. Also, this brings up a good point. You really want to take care of your skin at home. You want to do your home maintenance, so the benefits of the facial will last longer. You skin is going to look better. It's going to be firmer and overall, the treatments that you are getting are just going to work more effectively. "OK, let's put it on"! OK. Here we go. Do you see how syrupy that is? It is like a thick, thick gel. We are just going to massage it into the skin. It feels good, doesn't it? "Very". Now with this treatment, I want to only use water-soluble products because water-soluble products are going to penetrate deeper into the skin. If they are an oil-based product, they're not going to work with the electrical currents that we're using. Remember, this is an electrical treatment and the current is what is penetrating the product into the skin, much similar to an ultrasound. "So, you can do upkeep, but you cannot do this at home?" Right, this is something that you want to go and have done. Have a whole experience, you want to be pampered and have a treatment. OK, I am now going to apply the anti-aging gel onto the skin. This one smells really good. "Oh, it does." Isn't that nice? So, this is all going to penetrate into the skin when I 'iron' it in. "Most people at home will use anti-aging treatment at night. Correct?" Yes, I always recommend anti-aging products to be used at night because when your skin is resting, it's penetrating into the skin and that's what you want. You want it to penetrate completely into the skin at nighttime, so that in the morning, when you wake-up, your skin is much fresher. Plus, anti-aging products tend to have a little higher percentage of exfoliating properties, like vitamin-A or Retinol. That's for treating fine lines and wrinkles and helping the skin to look its best. This is the acne gel. I just want to put it on mostly the places where we did extractions. This is to kill bacteria, to really penetrate into those areas and to help prevent any future break-outs.
