Hi I'm Shoni Morris and I'm here on behalf of Expert Village. The different between acne treatments is salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide is going to dry the pimple out and usually takes 1-5 days to make it totally disappear. Now it could be a little irritating so we also have the H2O2 cream Hydrogen peroxide cream which is a hydrating acne treatment now that treatment is moisturizing and hydrate the skin as well as kill bacteria because it is hydrogen peroxide base. So that product again is only to be used in the P.M. Now with that product I have notice that it only takes 1-3 days to actually go away. Everyone is different, everyone's skin type is different so everyone is going to get different results. So some things to look for is your 2% salicylic acid, H2O2 cream as I know it is only carried by a brand called Philosophy it is very inexpensive. Things you want to avoid is going to be your typical like acne treatment pads you apply them to the entire face so it is going to dry out the skin it is not necessarily what you want to do is dry out the skin. You only want dry out the effected area and also the pads could technically wipe the bacteria around your face and we want to avoid that.
