Unlike a pimple, a blackhead is not inflamed. But it's a dark brown, or black plug at the surface of the pore. The dark coloring isn't dirt, it's a mixture of oil and dead skin cells that have oxidized, or darkened due to exposure to air. I'm Jackie, with how to remove blackheads. Use hot compresses to open your pores. Dip a washcloth in very warm water, being careful not to burn yourself. Wring out the excess and place it over your face for about a minute, or until the cloth cools. Dry your face. Read the package directions for Biore nose strips, and follow the directions. It may tell you to wet the strip, or wet your nose. Peel off the strip, and watch those blackheads come right out with it. You can then close your pores with cold water, and follow up with oil-free moisturizer. Remember, to remove blackheads, use hot compresses to open your pores. Try the Biore nose strips.
