Hair Care - Hair Loss - Natural Ayurveda Home Remedies & Herbs To Grow Shiny, Thick Hair

Hi there, Marc here from BaldingSerum.com. Today's video is going to be an interesting one. Why? Because I'll be talking about ayurvedic treatments for hair loss, that's why :22More and more people having been raving about ayurvedic this and ayurvedic that, so I figured I might as well be covering it for you today too :31So okโ€ฆ what is ayurveda or ayurvedic treatments really? Well, Ayurveda has been known since centuries, it has existed for about 5000 years to be exact for being a holistic system of medicine. Ayurvedic medicine is actually a system of traditional medicine native to the Indians and is a form of alternative medicine. And Ayurveda uses a lot of plant-based medicines and treatments. Ok โ€“ so ayurveda stresses a balance of three elemental substances which ar 09No 1 - Vayu / v?ta (which is air & spaceย โ€“ "wind") No.2 - pitta (which is fire & waterย โ€“ "bile") and No.3 - kapha (which is water & earthย โ€“ "phlegm"). Ayurvedic theory suggests that each human possesses a unique combination of doshas that define that person's temperament and characteristics. By the way โ€“ a dosha is is one of three bodily humors that make up one's constitution just as I've mentioned just now, which is the vayu, pitta and kapha. So each person has a natural systems state, or natural combination of the three elements, and should seek balance by structuring their behavior or environment to provide more of the element(s) they lack. In a way, just like how the chinese feng shui contains elements of earth, wind and fire, etcโ€ฆ consider this to be the Indian version :21So what causes hair loss? From an ayurvedic stand point, increased intake of fried, sour, spicy, salty, acidic and fermented foods, as well as excessive consumption of alcohol, meats, smoking, tea and coffee, aggravate the Pitta in the body. This Pitta accumulates in the skin of the scalp, leading to hair falling out and graying prematurely. Factors like excessive anger and stress are also responsible. Again from an ayurvedic point of view, hair is a byproduct of bone formation and the tissue responsible for building bones is also responsible for the growth of hair. Early hair loss is related to body type and the balance of the mind-body constitution (doshas). And people who have too much of Pitta in their body are likely to lose their hair early in life, or have prematurely thin or gray hair. And this excess Pitta in the sebaceous gland, at the root of the hair can lead to hair loss. So an Ayurvedic treatment of hair loss is done by neutralizing the Pitta through a rejuvenating diet and lifestyle regime, along with medication. A combination of diet, herbs, oil massage, meditation, aromatherapy, breathing and yoga can be beneficial in addressing the problem of hair loss and premature graying of hair. When it comes to dietโ€ฆ - Cut down on fiery, fire-y pitta foods like fried foods โ€“ anything that is fried, oily, spicy. Coffee and tea are also a no-nos. - Make sure your daily diet contains of a lot of fresh fruits, green leafy vegetables, and vegetable juice prepared from lettuce, carrot, capsicum, and alfalfa - Cut off anything that is chemical-based for your hair if possible โ€“ replace them with herbal and natural based hair products - Cut off or try to minimize intake of refined foods, refined sugar, junk food, alcoholic and carbonated drinks - Stop smoking and stop drinking.
