Makeup for Blemishes & Acne Scars ow to Apply Concealer to Cover Acne

Hi Im Kelli on behalf of expert village am gonna talk to you about concealing acne today. now we are going to be applying the concealer to the blemishes on the skin. we are using a stick form concealer. and im going to be using a concealer brush which has a stiffer synthetic bristles that enables you to get a better coverage. so were just gonna use a tiny amount and were going to be applying it directly to the blemish in a light patting motion. you can even take your finger, as long as its clean, you always want to make sure your hands are nice and clean and just lightly pat it. you want to avoid using too much products. if you use too much products, when its dries, it might have the tendency to look lightly caky. you can always apply a light amount and if you need to apply more you can go back at the end after it dries. but you definitely dont want to apply too much because thats when your make up will take on more of a caky appearance. you definitely wanna make sure that you are using a moisturizer under your make up as well especially when youre trying to deal with acne, make sure you using a really great oil free moisturizer thats going to hydrate the skin. Acne skin usually has the tendency to be a little bit more oily so you wanna use a really great hydrating moisturizer. the skin produces enough oil but it doesnt necessarily produces enough water so thats when a lot of times you can get the really dry flaky appearance to the blemishes, and if you use a really great oil free hydrating moisturizer, your make up will go on alot smoother and you wont have problems with the concealer sticking and kicking to the flakes on the skin
