How to Cover Acne with Makeup icking Foundation to Cover Acne with Makeup

Our next step in this process is going to be picking out the foundation for the skin. In this case for the best full coverage is going to be full coverage or pancake makeup. This helps cover up most of your skin irregularities or skin discoloration. Amy has a little bit of skin discoloration right through here. And full coverage or pancake makeup is going to be your best bet. There's also companies out there like Dermablend, who strictly focus on individuals who have discoloration or scars. And it's a long wearing, about twelve hours under harsh conditions, so you can also check that out. But in this case on Amy I'm going to use full coverage pancake foundation. I'm just going to take a little bit and put it on to my pallet here. There's two ways that you can apply foundation, you can either use a sponge or a foundation brush. Actually there's tons of ways that you can apply foundation, but in this case I'm going to show you two different types. Applying with a sponge which I'm going to do first on one half of her skin. And this is what a sponge or a wedge looks like. I'm just going to take some of the product and, so using the sponge you just put it on the skin just like this. It's totally giving her a very nice coverage. The difference between the sponge and the foundation brush, though is that the sponge eats up a lot of the product. And so, in just a moment on the other side of her face, I'm going to show you what's my favorite, is using the foundation brush. It's just kind of like I said, eats up a lot of the product. So now I'm finishing up with this side of the face with the sponge. And you can see the full coverage that it, the nice full coverage that it gave Amy. And next I'm going to use a foundation brush for the other side, and a foundation brush looks like this. You just kind of use it like a painters palette, like a painter basically. And you just paint on the makeup. I love these brushes. These brushes give a really nice, smooth really good look and full coverage. And she had a problem area, turn your chin right here, she had a little bit of a discoloration through here and the foundation that we've used totally covered that up. Our next step is going to be concealer. And we won't, we really need to use too too much concealer on that area because the full coverage makeup did a really wonderful job covering that area up. And there you go. That's the full face with full coverage foundation.
